We are seeking an experienced and skilled Head of Events to join our team at Live Recruitment. As a key member of our events team, you will be responsible for leading on larger scale, complex events and overseeing event logistics end to end.
Key Responsibilities- Lead on larger scale, complex events, working closely with clients and account teams.
- Line manage, train, and develop a team of event professionals.
- Monitor service level agreements across accounts and projects, ensuring high standards are met.
- Maintain and improve department efficiency, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes.
- Provide financial reporting and forecasting, ensuring accurate budgeting and forecasting.
- Collaborate with the sales team to drive strategic business growth, identifying new opportunities and developing business plans.
- Manage key accounts, developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
- Minimum 8 years' experience in project management within the event management and production industry.
- Proven track record in effective leadership, with experience in training and mentoring team members.
- Experience in leading an operational team, with a strong understanding of project management processes and procedures.
- Knowledge of major suppliers and relevant MICE products and destinations.
