About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Product and Contracting Director to join our team at C&M Travel Recruitment. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our global product strategy, ensuring that our tour packages meet the highest standards of quality and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of our global product strategy, ensuring alignment with our business goals and objectives.
  • Manage a team of product and contracting professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of our tour packages.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and partners, negotiating contracts and agreements that meet our business needs.
  • Oversee the procurement of services from suppliers, ensuring the best rates and inventory levels to meet our business needs.
  • Manage the department's budgets, P&L, and overheads, ensuring financial stability and growth.
  • Recruit and develop a high-performing team, providing clear performance goals and support to achieve them.
  • Drive automation and process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with consumer legislation and stay up-to-date with changes that may impact our business.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in product and contracting management within the travel industry.
  • Strategic thinking and commercial acumen, with the ability to drive business growth and excellence.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong leadership skills, with a track record of developing and managing large teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to travel on company business as required.
