Key Responsibilities
- Global Product Strategy
- Develop and implement a medium to long-term global product strategy to support business growth and service excellence.
- Lead on the procurement of services from suppliers, ensuring the best rates are negotiated and sufficient inventory to meet business needs.
- Team Management
- Recruit, develop, and motivate a high-performing team, ensuring clear performance goals and necessary support to achieve them.
- Manage the department's budgets, P&L, and overheads.
- Process Improvement
- Drive automation and process improvements to deliver enhanced efficiency and productivity.
- Ensure compliance with consumer legislation and stay up-to-date with any changes that may affect the business.
Requirements
- Experience
- Proven experience in contracting and product management within the travel industry.
- Skills
- Strategically capable and commercially astute individual.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent leadership skills with a track record of developing and managing large teams.
- Additional Requirements
- Flexible to travel on company business, which can be on short notice when required.
