Environmental Advisor Role

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Consultant to join our small, dynamic Environmental and Sustainability Team at Moss Agate Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for the Environmental control and monitoring of a major Substation and power infrastructure upgrade programme.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the Environmental Advisor on the project, working closely with the Environmental Manager.
  • Interface between the site and design teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Represent Environmental issues in collaborative meetings, providing expert advice and guidance.
  • Assist with the production and review of methods statements and risk assessments.
  • Collate subcontractor information from site to support monthly sustainability reporting.
  • Undertake Environmental inspections and audits, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
  • Provide Environmental advice on legal compliance and construction to the survey team.
  • Monitor contractors to ensure effective delivery of Environmental obligations.
  • Coordinate and liaise with the Design Joint Venture to ensure timely exchange of Environmental assessments and specialist resources.

This is a home-based role with occasional site visits, offering a competitive package including travel and subsistence allowances.
