Environmental Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Manager to join our small, dynamic Environmental and Sustainability Team at Moss Agate Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Environmental Management of a major Substation upgrade programme.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the Environmental Lead on the project, coordinating with site and design teams to ensure best practice environmental performance and standards.
  • Represent Environmental issues in collaborative meetings and assist with production and review of methods statements and risk assessments.
  • Collate subcontractor information for monthly sustainability reporting and undertake Environmental inspections and audits.
  • Provide environmental advice on legal compliance and construction to the survey team and monitor contractors to ensure effective delivery of obligations.
  • Coordinate with the Design Joint Venture to ensure timely exchange of environmental assessments and specialist resources.
  • Review and input into project work package plans and track progress.
