Technical Sales Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Technical Sales Engineer to join our client's team in Reading. This permanent role involves regular UK and some overseas travel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the aerospace and defence sectors
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with existing and new clients
  • Establish and understand client requirements and specifications through technical and commercial meetings
  • Work closely with engineering, production, and suppliers to provide customers with the most appropriate technical and commercial solutions
  • Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals to clients
  • Negotiate technical and commercial contracts
  • Prepare monthly sales reports and forecasts
Requirements:
  • Qualified electronics or electro-mechanical engineer
  • Background in technical business development, preferably in the aerospace and defence market (training will be provided)
  • Comfortable meeting new people and developing relationships with technical and commercial contacts
  • Presentable and professional demeanour
  • Enjoy travelling and meeting customers
