We are looking for a Clinical Neuropsychology Team Lead Specialist to join our team at NHS. As a key member of the multi-disciplinary team, you will provide expert clinical services to individuals with acquired brain injury and complex mental health difficulties.

You will work closely with our multidisciplinary staff to develop and improve services, and provide direct clinical assessments and interventions, formulations, and strategic direction. Your experience of exercising full clinical responsibility for clients' psychological care and treatment will be invaluable in this role.

This is a part-time position (0.8 WTE/30 hours per week) with a salary range of £71,473 to £82,355 per year (pro rata). The job location is Hafan Y Coed, University Hospital of Llandough.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement clinical services to meet the needs of individuals with acquired brain injury and complex mental health difficulties
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary staff to develop and improve services
  • Provide direct clinical assessments and interventions, formulations, and strategic direction
Requirements:
  • Good Honours degree in Psychology with eligibility for Graduate Basis for Chartership (GBC) with the BPS
  • Post-graduate Doctorate in Clinical/Counselling Psychology accredited by the HCPC (or its equivalent for those trained prior to 1996 as accredited by the BPS)
  • HCPC registration as a practitioner psychologist
  • Post-doctoral training in one or more additional specialist areas of psychological practice, particularly clinical neuropsychology
  • Qualification in supervision
  • Qualification in Clinical Neuropsychology (QiCN)
