Job Title: Senior IT Support Specialist
Location: Hybrid with office days in various locations
Working Hours: 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:30pm
Salary: £42,231 – 52, % bonus potential per annum, paid quarterly
Key Responsibilities:- Proactively manage a caseload of technically complex claims up to a value of £500,000, including fatalities, mild brain, and serious orthopaedic injury claims, while operating within the company's delegated authority.
- Reserve and report to reinsurers when required, ensuring accurate and realistic reserves in line with best practice.
- Provide technical support and guidance to less experienced claims handlers and handle technical referrals as needed.
- Participate in training and auditing of less experienced handlers, maintaining own technical knowledge through training and seminars.
- Assist in setting technical philosophy and business best practice, participating in projects as required.
- Highly motivated self-starter requiring minimal supervision and superior time management skills.
- Capable of organizing and prioritizing work effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
