Job Overview:

As a Consultant Psychiatrist at the renowned CAMHS Community Wigan, you will be part of a dedicated team providing expert care and treatment to children and young people up to 18 years old with mental health conditions such as autism spectrum disorder, depression, and eating disorders.

We are seeking an experienced professional who can provide optimised, individualised treatment options for patients in this Consultant Psychiatrist for CAMHS (Learning Disability) role. If you can combine empathy and understanding with specialised critical care, we want to hear from you.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care. You will have a strong background in child mental health and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, patients, and their families.

Requirements:

  • Highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist
  • Strong knowledge of child mental health and learning disabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
