Catering Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Catering Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional food services to schools and colleges across the UK. As a key member of our Caterlink team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of nutritionally balanced and tasty food are provided to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of chefs, kitchen assistants, and other support staff to drive standards and quality in our food services.
- Develop and implement menus that meet the nutritional needs of our customers, while also ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are maintained.
- Collaborate with our procurement team to source high-quality ingredients and supplies.
- Manage kitchen operations, including inventory management, stock control, and waste reduction.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as food safety standards.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong background in professional cookery and kitchen management.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and GP calculations.
- IT literacy skills, with experience of using kitchen management software and other relevant systems.
