Job Summary
The Restaurant Manager is a key member of the Lucia team, responsible for the smooth operation of the restaurant. This role requires a high level of organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a team of bartenders, hosts, and servers, ensuring excellent customer service and a positive dining experience.
- Communicate effectively with the General Manager and Operations Manager to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
- Lead by example, demonstrating a strong work ethic and commitment to company standards.
- Create and manage rotas using the payroll system Bizzimply, working within budget constraints.
- Run shifts, making decisions on staffing levels and ensuring all departments are engaged and running smoothly.
- Act as the Manager on Duty, handling guest complaints and ensuring company protocol is followed.
- Develop and implement staff incentives, working closely with Supervisors to establish business or training needs.
- Process invoices and maintain relevant items at company par level.
- Manage systems such as Bizzimply and Collins, ensuring audits are completed on time.
- Perform basic administrative duties, including dealing with guest queries and responding to emails.
Requirements
- Experience in a similar management position is desirable but not essential.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft programs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
