Job Description

As a key member of the Michael Page (UK) team, we are seeking an experienced Strategic Operations Manager to join our organization. This is an exciting opportunity to drive business growth and improvement through strategic planning and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Strategic Plans: Create and execute strategic plans to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency across the business.
  • Ensure Compliance and Operational Standards: Maintain adherence to industry regulations and operational standards, ensuring a seamless and compliant business environment.
  • Manage Budgets and Forecasts: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and reporting on operational performance, providing valuable insights for business decision-making.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Lead and implement continuous improvement initiatives across the business, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
  • Oversee Freight Operations: Manage the freight department, ensuring compliance and operational efficiency.
  • Manage Risks and Operational Issues: Identify and mitigate risks, resolving operational issues promptly and effectively.
Requirements
  • Strategic Planning and Problem-Solving: Excellent strategic planning and problem-solving abilities, with a proven track record of driving business growth and improvement.
  • Operational Management: Strong operational management skills, with experience in managing budgets, forecasts, and operational performance reports.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams, driving business excellence and innovation.
What We Offer

As a Strategic Operations Manager with Michael Page (UK), you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team, driving business growth and improvement. Depending on experience, the successful candidate will receive a competitive salary between £65,000 - £80,000.
