Job Summary

Agility Resourcing is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Financial Planning Manager to join their Senior Leadership Team. As a key member of the team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the company's fiscal stability and driving its profitability and continued expansion.

About the Role

You will be responsible for providing financial expertise to Management, assisting in effective strategies and gaining clearer directional insights. This is a multifaceted role that requires blending accounting acumen with business management proficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Financial Planning and Analysis
  • Collaborate with the Financial Controller to compile monthly management accounts.
  • Offer a supportive framework by liaising with all departments and the management to inform financial decisions.
  • Conduct in-depth assessments of financial performance, contributing to medium and long-term business blueprints and prognostications.
  • Translate and disseminate financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
Operational Management
  • Oversee day-to-day operations within Xero Accounting, including handling purchase invoices and expense disbursements.
  • Vigilantly monitor credit insurance parameters, risks, and suggestions.
  • Execute commission calculations and fulfill regulatory obligations.
Team Collaboration
  • Demonstrate commercial astuteness, coupled with a keen interest in business dynamics and a profound comprehension of organizational mechanisms.
  • Exhibit robust interpersonal skills and enjoy teamwork, adept at collaborating with colleagues, including non-finance personnel.

Requirements

To excel in this role, you must demonstrate:

  1. Commercial astuteness, coupled with a keen interest in business dynamics and a profound comprehension of organizational mechanisms.
  2. Robust interpersonal skills and enjoy teamwork, adept at collaborating with colleagues, including non-finance personnel.
  3. Either full or part-qualification in CIMA/ACCA or an equivalent accreditation, supplemented by 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  4. Familiarity with Xero Accounting Software, training will be provided as necessary.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
