Safeguarding Children's Health Expert

We are seeking an experienced Nurse to join our team as a Safeguarding Children's Health Expert, focused on promoting the health and wellbeing of Looked After Children in Kent.

About the Role:

  • You will work collaboratively with partner agencies to develop and implement effective safeguarding strategies, ensuring the health and wellbeing of vulnerable children.
  • As a Safeguarding Children's Health Expert, you will have the opportunity to lead on health assessments, develop packages of care, and contribute to improving health outcomes for Looked After Children.
  • This is a challenging and rewarding role, offering the chance to make a significant difference in the lives of vulnerable children and young people.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse (Child Branch)/Midwife with post-registration experience in primary care and child development.
  • Experience of working with Looked After Children, including knowledge of statutory guidance and collaborating in a multi-agency team.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve excellent outcomes.

What We Offer:

  • A salary of £48,000 - £70,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
