We are currently looking for a Hardware Engineering Lead to join our team in Bristol. As a key member of our division, you will play a crucial role in the development and support of our Hardware Engineering team.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in electrical/electronic design, particularly in high-availability electronics design. They will also have expertise in leading teams and serving as a technical authority.

The Hardware Engineering Lead will be responsible for ensuring that all work meets quality standards and collaborating with other stakeholders to prioritise projects and manage workloads.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer to learn and grow with a highly ambitious business. The successful candidate will have the chance to work on bespoke mechanical/electro engineered solutions for various sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and support the Hardware Engineering team
  • Collaborate with the Operations Engineering Manager to support the company's goals
  • Advocate for best practices in electrical health and safety
  • Prioritise projects and manage workloads with the Programme Manager and other stakeholders

Essential Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience with Altium and SolidWorks PDM vault
  • Proficiency in CAD software
  • Strong understanding of Ethernet, USB, and Serial Communications
  • Experience in Electrical / Electronic systems
  • Leadership experience

This position is offered with an estimated annual salary of £65,000, alongside a comprehensive benefits package including 26 days' holiday, pension, life insurance, private healthcare, and profit-related bonus.
