We are seeking a highly skilled Research and Development Specialist to join our team at Newcastle University. As a key member of the SONNETS project, you will be responsible for designing risk models using data from diverse sources and working collaboratively with other researchers to generate deliverables.

To be considered for this position, you should have a strong background in hardware/software co-design and proficiency in Python/C++. Experience in FPGA design and testing is also essential. A developing track record of peer-reviewed publications and experience in presenting to the national and international research community are desirable.

Our benefits package includes a competitive salary of £34,866 - £55,295 per annum, a generous holiday package, excellent pension schemes, and a range of health and wellbeing initiatives.
