About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at MacFarlane Group. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the South Coast Region.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a business plan to maximize sales growth in the allocated territory.
- Prospect for potential new customers and turn this into increased business.
- Adopt a consultative approach with clients to tailor appropriate solutions to meet their needs.
- Meet potential clients, growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network.
- Identify potential clients and decision-makers within client companies.
- Research and build relationships with new clients.
- Plan approaches, sales presentations, and pitches.
- Meet yearly and monthly sales targets assigned to you.
- Maintain strong sales administration, including use of CRM (MS Dynamics) to follow up all leads, enquiries/quotes.
Requirements
- Recent B2B field sales/customer-facing experience.
- Demonstrated record of impressive performance.
- Open to learning our business and sector.
- Comfortable with a more technical solution-based sales approach.
- Fully valid UK driving license.
- Reside on patch within the Hampshire/Dorset area.
