Mechanical Design Engineer Position

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at Gap Technical. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing HVAC systems for industrial and commercial premises.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop HVAC systems, including duct sizing, equipment, and pipework.
- Conduct technical support for project teams.
- Assist the estimating team by sourcing quotations from suppliers and vetting quotations for compliance with employer's requirements, specifications, and standards.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest regulations and standards, as well as emerging technologies.
- Review design and specifications for accuracy and compliance.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, and project teams.
Requirements:
- HND in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services.
- Proficient in CAD/Revit and HVAC software.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of regulations and building codes.
- Problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
- Effective communication and collaborative working skills.
