We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced physiotherapist or occupational therapist to join our hand therapy team at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a varied caseload of patients referred by trauma and orthopaedic, plastics and rheumatology departments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high quality hand therapy management to patients
  • Manage a largely outpatient caseload, with responsibilities covering hand therapy inpatients on the wards
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient care
  • Participate in service development projects and contribute to the improvement of hand therapy services
  • Supervise students and hand therapy assistants, with a focus on developing basic supervision skills
  • Undertake audit and/or research projects, either within the area of hand therapy specialty or as part of the multidisciplinary team

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy, be state registered with the Health Professions Council, and have membership of the Chartered Society of Hand Therapy or Royal College of Occupational Therapy. They will also have recent substantial and sustained experience in relevant hand therapy specialties and clinical settings.
