Job Title: Band 6 Hand Therapist (Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist)

Location: Surrey

Job Type: Part-time

Hours: 15 hours per week

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Hand Therapist to join our team in Surrey. As a Band 6 Hand Therapist, you will work with a broad range of Hand/wrist related pathologies, providing personalised recovery and rehabilitation plans to our patients.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage Hand pathologies and their treatment, working closely with our multidisciplinary team.
  2. Develop and implement effective rehabilitation plans for patients with acute and elective Hand injuries.
  3. Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  4. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for our patients.
  5. Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest Hand therapy techniques and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a Hand Therapy setting, with a good understanding of Hand pathologies and their management.
  • Ability to work with acute elective, acute trauma patients as well as plastics and rheumatology cases.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients and colleagues.
