Job Title: Senior Rotational Occupational Therapist

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team as a Senior Rotational Occupational Therapist. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a caseload of patients with complex physical, psychological, and social presentations. They will work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide occupational therapy assessment, intervention, and education to patients and their families.

The role will involve:

  • Undertaking occupational therapy assessments and developing treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
  • Providing occupational therapy interventions, including education, training, and support to patients and their families
  • Supervising and mentoring junior staff, including occupational therapy students and support staff
  • Contributing to the development of occupational therapy services and policies
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives and contributing to the evaluation of occupational therapy services
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A recognized degree or diploma in Occupational Therapy
  • HCPC registration
  • Recent postgraduate training relevant to the post
  • Experience of working in an acute care setting, preferably in a rotational capacity
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of occupational therapy theory and practice, including assessment and intervention techniques
