Job Summary:

We are seeking an Electromagnetic Compatibility Specialist to join our team at Onyx-Conseil. As an Electromagnetic Compatibility Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products and systems meet the required electromagnetic compatibility standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Implementation: Perform requirements, design, and implementation tasks to ensure electromagnetic compatibility of our products and systems.
  • Engineering Practices: Adhere to relevant engineering practices and standards to ensure high-quality designs and implementations.
  • Reporting and Feedback: Report on progress and provide feedback to team members and leadership to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
  • Technical Documentation: Produce appropriate technical documentation to support design and implementation decisions.
  • Supplier and Industry Partners: Work closely with suppliers and industry partners to ensure electromagnetic compatibility of our products and systems.
  • Customer Support: Work with customers to support delivered systems and resolve issues related to electromagnetic compatibility.

Requirements:

  • Education: Honours degree or equivalent professional qualification in a relevant STEM subject (Physics, Mathematics, Electronic/Electrical Engineering, System Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computational Modelling), or conversant experience.
  • Understanding of Electromagnetics: Understanding of the fundamentals of Electromagnetics is essential for this role.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience: Experience of working within a large, complex, multi-project environment is desirable.
  • Design IT Tools: Knowledge of and understanding of Design IT tools, such as CAD systems, is desirable.
