Cardiologist Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiologist to join our team at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust (279). As a Consultant Cardiologist, you will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive outpatient and inpatient cardiology service for patients from across the Trust.
Main DutiesThe successful candidate will join a team of 6 cardiologists at St Richard's Hospital, Chichester, and will be responsible for:
- Providing daily in-reach to the Emergency Floor and selecting patients for transfer to the Cardiac Ward
- Managing outpatient clinic activity and triaging generic cardiology referrals via the ERS system
- Contributing to the development of a local Cardiac Electrophysiology service and supporting the expansion of the complex devices service
- Teaching and supervising medical students, junior medical staff, and technicians/nurses
