We are seeking an experienced Clinical Lead to join our team in Bracknell, where you will lead and support our community nurses. As a Clinical Lead, you will be responsible for providing enhanced clinical support and expertise to patients, implementing evidence-based practice to ensure best patient care.
About the RoleThe Clinical Lead will be responsible for:
- Ensuring care in their locality is based on sound assessment and care planning processes.
- Providing education opportunities and training for all staff and students, including pre- and post-registration nursing students.
- Developing district nursing practice in a defined area, developing and using relationships with other primary care team members.
- Leading and supporting the community nursing team to ensure good clinical practice and maintain high standards of care.
- Monitoring clinical supervision, induction, preceptorship, and development of staff.
- Exercise leadership and judgment in the management of a Community Nursing Team.

To be successful in this role, you will need:
- NMC registered Nurse.
- Specialist Community Practice qualification relevant to field of practice.
- Evidence of continuing professional development (CPD).
- Experience in teaching and assessing both pre- and post-reg. nursing.
- Act as clinical expert in the field of community nursing.
- Develops strong interpersonal relationships, ensuring that staff are given the opportunity to develop and grow into roles; promoting succession planning, to meet the needs of the service.
