About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our client's care team in the Basildon area. This is a 10-hour per week position, with the opportunity to work additional hours on a part-time basis.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing personal care and support to our client, who requires assistance with daily living tasks and social activities. The successful candidate will be trained to CQC standards and will work in line with our client's care plan.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing personal care and support to our client
  • Assisting with daily living tasks, such as medication administration and personal care
  • Accompanying our client to social activities and appointments
  • Providing mental health support and companionship
  • Maintaining our client's safety and well-being
Requirements
  • Enhanced DBS disclosure
  • Full, valid UK driving licence and own vehicle
  • Ability to commit to long-term care for one client
  • Willingness to be trained to CQC standards
  • Reliability, non-judgmental attitude, and excellent communication skills
