About the Role

We are seeking a caring and compassionate individual to support a young person with complex needs to access the community and socialise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the young person to develop their independence and life skills
  • Assist with daily living tasks and provide personal care as needed
  • Encourage and facilitate social interaction and community engagement
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure the young person receives comprehensive support

Requirements

  • Experience working with children with complex needs, preferably in areas such as Autism, acquired brain injury and global development delay
  • Ability to provide complex care and support to individuals with varying needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
