Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Audit Senior/Senior Auditor to join our team at Connect2Luton, an equal opportunities Employment Agency & Business. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of financial reporting and auditing are carried out in a timely and efficient manner, in accordance with prescribed systems and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare management accounts
- Support trainees and help with development of knowledge and skills
- Review annual accounts prepared by juniors
- Finalise accounts
- Audit - where applicable
Requirements
- Deal with complex business tax computations, including corporation tax
- Prepare personal tax returns for manager/director review
- Communicate by letter, telephone and face to face in a professional manner, recognising and addressing the clients' needs
- Take account of budgets in utilization of own time and overseeing juniors' time
- Take an active participation in the personal and professional development of all direct reports
Desirable Skills
- Knowledge of accounts
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Xero, Sage
