Financial Controller

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our team at Numatic International, a leading manufacturer of top-quality products. As a Financial Controller, you will play a critical role in shaping our financial strategy and ensuring robust financial controls.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the preparation of budgets, financial forecasts, and monthly financial statements, including the consolidation of results from our overseas subsidiaries.
- Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and relevant legislation.
- Direct and coordinate the budget preparation for the Numatic Group, and contribute to the development of our financial strategy.
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls, ensuring the finance team operates within a robust control environment.
- Create detailed reports to identify results, trends, and financial forecasts, and deliver executive presentations to senior management.
- A degree in accounting or equivalent experience, with a professional accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
- A solid background in finance management, with experience in managing accounting operations, budgets, and financial reporting.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze both qualitative and quantitative data to drive improvements and measure impact.
- Experience in managing projects across various business areas, particularly in creating Senior Accounting Officer procedures.
- A thorough understanding of current accounting standards and legislation, with a proactive approach to maintaining compliance.
