Branch Assistant Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Branch Assistant to join our team at Cambridge. This is a dynamic and varied role that requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service on the trade counter and over the phone, ensuring that customers receive a high level of support and satisfaction.
  • Undertake deliveries and assist with duties in the warehouse, maintaining a safe and organized working environment.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as processing orders and managing stock levels, to ensure the smooth operation of the branch.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives, promoting a positive and supportive team culture.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently.
  • Basic knowledge of trade counter operations and warehouse procedures, with a willingness to learn and develop skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and bank holidays, to meet the needs of the business.
