Branch Support Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Branch Support Specialist to join our team at Williams Trade Supplies Careers. As a key member of our branch team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing quotes, and maintaining the branch and warehouse to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve on the trade counter and handle incoming enquiries: Provide expert advice and guidance to customers, responding to their queries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Process quotes: Accurately and efficiently process customer quotes, ensuring that all necessary information is included and that quotes are delivered to customers in a timely manner.
- Maintain the branch and warehouse: Ensure that the branch and warehouse are maintained to the highest standards, including stock rotation, general housekeeping, and receiving, checking, and storing incoming goods.
- Accurately pick orders in preparation for delivery: Select and prepare customer orders for delivery, ensuring that all items are accurately picked and that orders are delivered to customers in a timely manner.
- Carry out deliveries in the local area: Safely and efficiently deliver customer orders to their destinations, ensuring that all items are delivered in good condition.
- Assist with general duties as directed by the Branch Manager and their assistant: Provide support to the branch team as needed, undertaking tasks such as data entry, filing, and other administrative duties.
Requirements:
- Excellent customer service skills: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Great communication skills: Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management, ensuring that all information is clearly understood and that all tasks are completed efficiently.
- Flexible approach to duties and tasks: Be flexible and adaptable, willing to undertake a variety of tasks and duties as required by the branch team.
- Enthusiastic team player: Work collaboratively with the branch team, providing support and assistance as needed.
- Ambitious to progress and keen to learn: Be motivated to learn and develop new skills, with a desire to progress within the company.
- Hold a full UK driving licence: Possess a valid UK driving licence, enabling you to safely and efficiently deliver customer orders.
What We Offer:
- A competitive salary: Earn a salary of up to £25,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
- A 40-hour working week: Enjoy a standard 40-hour working week, Monday to Friday.
- 33 days annual leave: Receive 33 days annual leave, increasing with length of service.
