Data Systems Specialist

At Arcus Global, we are seeking a highly skilled Data Consultant/Engineer to join our Implementation Services Department. This role involves developing and maintaining tooling that supports the migration and deployment of customer data and configuration, as well as setting up scheduled data export/import routines.
Key Responsibilities- Maintaining core tools for data extraction and validation built upon MsAccess.
- Assisting customers in understanding their legacy and target data models, recommending actions to aid effective migration.
- Analysis of customer data, producing data quality reports outlining issues and recommending 'quick wins' for resolution.
- Accurate data mapping between legacy and new schemas.
- Testing and loading data sets into customer environments, ensuring confidence in completeness and accuracy while minimizing business impact.
- Collaborating with customers to optimize their use of Salesforce.com, feeding back to product teams on data model adjustments.
- Managing personal time within project constraints.
- Participating in project planning exercises, ensuring data considerations are fully addressed.
- Configuring inbound/outbound data integrations and supporting related tickets.
- Preparing data mapping templates, containers, and ongoing documentation development.
- A strong interest in working with data is essential for this role.
- Expectation to work across multiple projects simultaneously, meeting customer deadlines.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new situations, different business practices, and challenges of working in the public sector.
- Proven ability to plan, organize, prioritize, manage, and track concurrent activities to successful outcomes.
- Experience with data modeling – a working knowledge (or beyond) of data modeling techniques would be advantageous, particularly interpreting, writing, and explaining ERDs.
We offer a competitive salary of £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, and a comprehensive benefits package including pension scheme, life insurance, and generous annual leave allowance.
