About the Role:

We are working with an Outstanding Primary School in Dartford who are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team in September.

This is a long-term opportunity until the end of the academic year with the potential to be extended to permanent.

The Ideal Candidate:

You will have previous experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant and be able to provide one-to-one support to a young child with complex needs (speech, language, mobility).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality educational support to a child with complex needs.
  • Develop strong relationships with pupils, teachers, and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for the child.
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to the development of the child's Individual Education Plan.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive school environment that values diversity and encourages creativity and innovation.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant or similar role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with children and adults.
  • Commitment to the happiness, well-being, self-esteem, and progress of everyone at the school.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary and Benefits:

  • £13 - £17 per hour salary
