SEN Support Worker

About the Role
GSL Education Kent is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with special needs in a vibrant classroom setting.
This rewarding role involves providing one-on-one support and working with small groups, helping students with SEMH challenges, autism, ADHD, and other SEND requirements.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the educational and emotional well-being of our students.
The successful candidate must have experience working with children in an SEN environment and possess a strong knowledge of safeguarding and child protection.
A degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field is desirable, but not essential. What's more important is your passion for supporting students with special needs.
Requirements:
- CACHE Level 2 or 3, or NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Childcare or Teaching Assistance (preferred).
- A commitment to ethical and inclusive recruitment practices.
- An enhanced DBS certificate.
Salary: £18,000 - £22,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Location: Schools in Dartford, Kent.
