The Role

We are seeking a dedicated Learning and Development Support Specialist to join our team. This role will involve providing high-quality support to students, assisting with their learning and development, and working closely with teaching colleagues to ensure the best possible educational experience.

Responsibilities
  • Support students in lessons and SEND areas, maintaining a presence to ensure uncluttered and well-organized learning environments.
  • Assist with supporting student educational visits, break and lunchtime supervision, and deliver therapy and/or care programs designed by external agencies.
  • Develop positive relationships with students and adults, demonstrating empathy and effective communication skills.
Requirements
  • Experience working with young people, ideally those with SEN.
  • An ability to scaffold students' learning and commit to the process of learning.
  • A positive role model who remains calm and objective, promoting a supportive and professional team culture.
  • A team player who genuinely believes every child can succeed.

Salary and Hours
