Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Risk Management Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting a team-specific risk analysis to strengthen and future-proof our existing risk management frameworks, with a focus on operational risks.
Key Responsibilities- Meet with team leaders to draft an updated team-by-team risk matrix, identifying risks and their mitigation and management strategies.
- Develop a standardized rating system for escalation and assessment of risk at the group level.
- Enhance existing risk reporting and develop risk reporting for fund investment committees and the company board.
- Develop training for teams to enhance the identification and prioritization of risks.
- Review existing risk policies and suggest updates and refinements based on the outcome of the initial risk analysis.
- Contribute to discussions on the review of risk appetite and risk tolerance.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Sufficient experience working within operational risk area with knowledge of risk and control assessment methodology and reporting.
- Strong project management and organization skills, with the ability to prioritize and deliver within strict deadlines and under pressure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Enthusiastic and interested in learning about the different areas of the business.
This is a fixed-term contract position, and the successful candidate will be responsible for conducting a thorough risk analysis to strengthen our risk management frameworks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operational risk management and excellent communication skills.
