About the Role
At Tesco, we're committed to delivering exceptional healthcare services to our communities. As a Duty Pharmacy Manager, you'll play a vital role in leading our pharmacy team and providing top-notch services to our customers.
As a leader, you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact on people's lives. You'll be responsible for supplying prescriptions, delivering NHS and private services, and providing healthcare advice to customers. You'll also play an active role in our charity support program, giving advice to people in the community at risk of or living with cancer, heart disease, and diabetes.
Your Responsibilities
- Supply prescriptions and deliver a range of NHS and private services
- Provide healthcare advice to customers
- Play an active role in our charity support program
- Support the Pharmacy Manager to lead, train, and develop colleagues
- Support the Pharmacy Manager in building relationships with Primary Care Networks and GPs' surgeries
- Ensure accurate payment claims for NHS-covered items
Your Requirements
- Pharmacy Degree
- Passionate about leading and empowering a team
- Member of the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and willing to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme
- Complete a DBS check before employment
