About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our dynamic finance team at Megger. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Finance Business Partner and ensuring the smooth operation of financial processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial reports, including monthly management accounts and analytics, to ensure accuracy and compliance with IFRS16 lease accounting and statutory reporting requirements.
  • General Ledger Maintenance: Maintain the accuracy of the general ledger and fixed assets, ensuring timely and accurate financial data.
  • Financial Analysis: Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions, including costings and project work.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with internal teams (finance, sales, manufacturing) and external parties (auditors, tax specialists) to ensure effective communication and coordination.
Requirements
  • AAT Level 4 qualification or near completion, with a willingness to study for CIMA.
  • Advanced Excel skills (e.g., lookups, formulas, pivots).
  • Experience with SAP would be beneficial.
  • Strong attention to detail, technical ability, and ability to work independently during busy periods.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a collaborative, team-oriented attitude.
