We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our dynamic finance team at Megger. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Finance Business Partner and ensuring the smooth operation of financial processes.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Accounting and Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, optimize financial performance, and inform business decisions.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure adherence to financial regulations, laws, and internal policies, and identify and mitigate financial risks.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with internal teams, including finance, sales, and manufacturing, and external parties, such as auditors and tax specialists.
- Qualifications: AAT Level 4 qualification or near completion, with a willingness to study for CIMA.
- Technical Skills: Advanced Excel skills, including lookups, formulas, and pivots, and experience with SAP would be beneficial.
- Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, technical ability, and ability to work independently during busy periods, excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a collaborative, team-oriented attitude.
