Overview:
Our client, Cobb & Jones, a leading organization in the industry, is looking to hire a skilled Finance Analyst on a permanent basis. This role is situated in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, offering high visibility across various departments within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional financial analysis, support, and strategic advice to the Senior Finance Business Partner.
- Contribute to the company’s commercial strategy and decision-making through the analysis of extensive financial and commercial data.
- Prepare and distribute daily and weekly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Review and scrutinize Profit & Loss statements and tracking information for discrepancies and trends.
- Collaborate with internal teams on Profit & Loss statements.
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations.
- Assist in EBITDA reconciliation and analysis for review.
- Generate ad-hoc operational reports to enhance business performance analysis.
- Streamline reporting processes for senior management.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with report users.
Ideal Candidate:
- Part-qualified accountant in ACCA, ACA, or CIMA.
- Demonstrated analytical and business partner experience, particularly with large data sets, showcasing a proven track record in supporting business objectives.
- Strong commercial acumen and business insight.
- Excellent communication skills.
