Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing full administration support to the reverse logistics function, ensuring all required product is collected and processed in a timely, cost-effective, and environmentally friendly manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer the recovery of customer-owned stock and spare parts to ensure timely collection from the end user or engineer.
  • Handle product returns efficiently, including managing customer returns, processing returned items, and ensuring appropriate disposition.
  • Track and manage inventory levels of field service engineers, optimizing inventory turnover and minimizing costs associated with excess inventory.
  • Provide responsive and effective customer service for return-related inquiries, issues, and concerns.
  • Analyze return patterns and other relevant data to identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reductions, and customer/stakeholder experience enhancements.
  • Control the system receipt for customer-owned stock and spare parts to ensure system and cost reporting accuracy.
  • Process return requests from engineers to ensure the timely return of customer-owned stock.
  • Update inventory records to reflect returned goods, manage engineer inventory levels of returned or excess products, and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
  • Resolve all ITS reverse logistics queries in a timely manner to ensure an efficient service is being delivered.

Requirements:

  • Experience of end-to-end processes in a supply chain environment.
  • Excellent Customer Service skills.
  • Conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to make decisions independently.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • PC literate - Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to collate data and report findings in a required format.
  • Ability to prioritize work effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
