About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Due Diligence Consultant to join our Offshore Wind team at The Green Recruitment Company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead complex consultancy assignments in offshore wind and renewable energy, managing multi-disciplinary teams and ensuring timely, budget-conscious delivery of projects.
  • Develop and implement technical due diligence strategies, guiding and training staff on valuation, risk management, and project development.
  • Identify and pursue new consultancy opportunities, leveraging professional networks and partnerships.
  • Collaborate with department heads to prepare tenders and proposals, driving business growth and development.
  • Provide expert technical advice on offshore wind topics, including project feasibility, procurement, construction, and operations.
  • Maintain project budgets and schedules, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and policies.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date on technological and regulatory developments impacting the business, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and excellence.
Requirements
  • Degree in engineering or a related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience in technical advisory roles within the renewable energy sector, particularly offshore wind.
  • Proven experience in leading technical due diligence and advisory projects.
  • Strong project management skills with a client-oriented focus.
  • Expertise in one or more areas of technical due diligence (e.g., wind turbine technology, supply chain, electrical systems).
  • Established client network in due diligence (buyer, seller, lender sides).
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent technical knowledge across all phases of offshore wind projects.
