The successful candidate will lead the development and execution of business development strategies, identify new opportunities for growth and expansion, and foster strategic partnerships to drive revenue growth and maximize impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies aligned with the company's vision, mission, and values.
  • Lead market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and potential areas for expansion within the social care sector.
  • Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships, collaborations, and funding opportunities with government agencies, local authorities, non-profit organizations, and other stakeholders.
  • Drive new business acquisition efforts, including identifying and pursuing new contract opportunities, responding to RFPs/RFIs, and leading contract negotiations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, finance, and marketing, to develop and execute integrated business development initiatives and campaigns.
  • Monitor and evaluate business performance against strategic objectives, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking forums to raise brand awareness, build relationships, and promote the company's services and expertise.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the business development team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience in building commercial relationships in the children and adult social care sectors, also health and education.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with the ability to turn analysis into actions.
