Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Business Strategies: Create and execute comprehensive business development strategies aligned with our company's vision, mission, and values.
- Market Research and Analysis: Lead market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and potential areas for expansion within the social care sector.
- Strategic Partnerships and Collaborations: Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships, collaborations, and funding opportunities with government agencies, local authorities, non-profit organizations, and other stakeholders.
- New Business Acquisition: Drive new business acquisition efforts, including identifying and pursuing new contract opportunities, responding to RFPs/RFIs, and leading contract negotiations.
- Team Leadership and Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including operations, finance, and marketing, to develop and execute integrated business development initiatives and campaigns.
- Performance Monitoring and Evaluation: Monitor and evaluate business performance against strategic objectives, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
- Industry Representation: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking forums to raise brand awareness, build relationships, and promote our services and expertise.
- Team Development and Mentorship: Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the business development team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Commercial Experience: Demonstrable experience in building commercial relationships in the children and adult social care sectors, as well as health and education.
- Commercial and Financial Acumen: Strong commercial and financial acumen.
- Analytical Skills: Strong numerical and analytical skills with the ability to turn analysis into actions.
