About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Bid and Proposal Manager to join our Amazon Web Services (AWS) team. As a key member of our Commercial Sales team, you will be responsible for leading proposal responses to Request for Information (RFI), Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Tender (RFT), and Request for Quote (RFQ) opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and execute proposal response plans in collaboration with internal stakeholders, including sales teams, service teams, legal, support, security, and finance.
  2. Build a library of approved proposal content for quick-turnaround opportunities.
  3. Understand and navigate EMEA Enterprise procurement processes and procedures.
  4. Work closely with the OPCOE team to craft AWS customer proposals and documents in response to RFx opportunities.

About the Team

The OPCOE team is responsible for crafting AWS customer proposals and documents in response to RFx opportunities. We partner with Private Pricing, Cloud Intelligence, Cloud Economics, Analyst Relations, and other Strategic Teams throughout a pursuit.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  2. Experience developing and implementing systems/tools utilized for CRM, variable compensation, revenue reporting, forecasting, Salesforce automation, etc.
  3. Experience defining, refining, and implementing sales processes, procedures, and policies or equivalent.
  4. Proposal or Bid Management Experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Experience using Salesforce (or other CRM tool) or BI tools.
  2. Experience presenting to senior leadership.
  3. Experience working within a high-growth, technology company.
