About the Role

University Hospital Southampton NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Fellow in Paediatric Sleep Medicine to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with our team of paediatric sleep consultants to provide a comprehensive supra-regional paediatric sleep and ventilation service.
  • Conduct polysomnography studies, ventilation titration nights, and outpatient clinics, utilizing your expertise in paediatric sleep medicine.
  • Prepare and lead weekly multidisciplinary sleep meetings, ensuring effective communication and action planning.
  • Contribute to the department through research and audit, driving continuous improvement and excellence.
Requirements
  • MRCPCH qualification and at least 5 years of full-time postgraduate training or equivalent.
  • Experience in paediatric sleep medicine, with a strong understanding of sleep disorders, including sleep disordered breathing.
  • Ability to work effectively in multi-professional teams, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Appropriate training and knowledge of national safeguarding policies for children, young people, and vulnerable adults.
