We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Fellow in Paediatric Sleep Medicine to join our team at University Hospital Southampton NHS Trust.
Key Responsibilities- Work collaboratively with our team of paediatric sleep consultants to provide a comprehensive supra-regional paediatric sleep and ventilation service.
- Conduct polysomnography studies, ventilation titration nights, and outpatient clinics, utilizing your expertise in paediatric sleep medicine.
- Prepare and lead weekly multidisciplinary sleep meetings, ensuring effective communication and action planning.
- Contribute to the department's research and audit initiatives, driving excellence in paediatric sleep medicine.
- MRCPCH qualification and at least 5 years of full-time postgraduate training or equivalent.
- Experience in managing children with sleep disorders, including sleep disordered breathing.
- Ability to work effectively in multi-professional teams, communicate effectively with patients and colleagues, and demonstrate good organisational skills.
- Appropriate training and knowledge of national safeguarding policies for children, young people, and vulnerable adults.
