About the Role
University Hospital Southampton NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paediatric Sleep Medicine Specialist to join our team. As a Senior Fellow in Paediatric Sleep Medicine, you will be responsible for providing a full supra-regional paediatric sleep and ventilation service.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with the 5 consultants who look after children with sleep disorders and the 5 consultants who look after children on home mechanical ventilation to provide a comprehensive service.
- Set up polysomnography studies, undertake ventilation titration nights, and conduct outpatient clinics.
- Prepare and lead weekly multidisciplinary sleep meetings and action points from the meetings.
- Participate and contribute to the department via research and audit.
Requirements
- MRCPCH qualification.
- At least 5 years in full-time postgraduate training (or its equivalent on a part-time or flexible basis).
- Clinical experience in paediatric sleep medicine.
