About the Role

University Hospital Southampton NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Fellow in Paediatric Sleep Medicine to join our team. As a key member of our paediatric sleep service, you will work closely with our team of consultants to provide a comprehensive and high-quality service to children with sleep disorders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with our team of consultants to provide a full supra-regional paediatric sleep and ventilation service.
  • Conduct polysomnography studies, ventilation titration nights, and outpatient clinics.
  • Prepare and lead weekly multidisciplinary sleep meetings and action points from the meetings.
  • Participate and contribute to the department via research and audit.

Person Specification

Essential

  • MRCPCH qualification.
  • At least 5 years in full-time postgraduate training (or its equivalent on a part-time or flexible basis).

Desirable

  • Entry on the CCT register or equivalent.
  • Qualification in sleep medicine.
  • Further educational qualification or research experience.
