Position Summary

Viasat is seeking an experienced Global Licensing Lead to drive its global licensing efforts and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. This is a critical role in facilitating Viasat's provision of innovative services on a global scale.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive global licensing strategy aligned with business unit needs and priorities.
  • Manage complex global licensing projects and track project status on a country-by-country basis.
  • Collaborate with other regulatory team members to identify and overcome application 'blockers.'
  • Partner closely with other Viasat teams to obtain necessary inputs and facilitate internal review of relevant licensing materials.
Requirements
  • Demonstrable experience in government and regulatory affairs, particularly in telecommunications-related licensing matters.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with leadership and teammates.
  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills, with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced corporate environment.

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000-$150,000 per annum, based on industry standards and location.
