About the Role:

South57 Partnership Ltd is seeking a talented and passionate Chef de Partie to join their esteemed client. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled chef to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook dishes to the highest standards, following recipes and guidelines.
  • Menu Development: Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef in the development of new menu items.
  • Food Presentation: Ensure all food is prepared and presented in an attractive and appetizing manner.
  • Workplace Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed.
  • Training and Development: Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient service.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a high-end restaurant or hotel.
  • Cooking Skills: Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and food safety standards.
  • Certifications: Food Safety Certificate Level 2 and Allergens certificate.
  • Soft Skills: Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment, excellent communication and teamwork skills, creativity and passion for food.
  • Flexibility: Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
